Todays photos are courtsy of Jason from Trout Beck Lodge who had his client up at the Big O over the weekend as you can see there are some nice fish comming out. I also belive that big Grant and his side kick the Ninga also had a good week end up at the O.

Reports over the weekend where mixed from the river but it appears that there are a number of what appears to big browns been hooked and lost in the river at the moment I have to say that if and when we get some heat the fishing on the Tongariro is going to real be interesting with the cicada and the browns that appear to in the river at the moment.

The lake is fishing well for some and not others but in general most folk are happy with the fishing Because of the weather so far this summer there are still anumber of fish been caught on lead lines this is because the lake has not warmed as normal it will be interesting to see what happens over the rest of the so called summer.
