Zane was up fishing at lake Otamangakau yesterday with Jason from TroutBeck Fishing Lodge here is hooked up note the lack of wind up there yesterday.Zane landed this great looking fish which is still very clean looking for the time of year you would expect a bit of colour in the fish at this time of the year.I was out and about  early this morning I caught one grumpy looking jack and then nothing it seem’s that at the moment the fish tend to bite better with plenty of light on the water especially if you are fishing the nymph.The bug again I would like to be were I hooked this fish right now [ mid morning] I am sure the fishing would be great. No other report’s so far this morning those that are here are out fishing I’m sure.
